Liability Waiver & Release
By registering for and attending the Event, I hereby fully release, indemnify, and hold harmless
Watermark Insights, LLC and its affiliates, including assigns, employees, authorized
representatives, vendors, agents, and contractors (collectively, ”Watermark”) from any and all
alleged and/or actual liability, claims, actions, lawsuits, damages, or losses (“Claims”) which
arise out of or result from my participation in the Event, including but not limited to property
damages, personal injuries, or illness, whether or not foreseeable and regardless of legal theory
(including negligence).
By attending any in-person portion of the Event, I knowingly and voluntarily assume the risk of
possible exposure to communicable diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19 infection,
and agree that I will not attend any in-person Event activities if I have been diagnosed with,
exposed to, or am experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or any other communicable disease.
WATERMARK WILL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR (A) ANY
LOST PROFITS OR OPPORTUNITIES, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, OR (B) DIRECT DAMAGES RELATED TO OR
ARISING UNDER THIS EVENT.
Photography, Audio, and Video Recording
By registering, you authorize Watermark to use your likeness, photograph, voice, name, or
video of you for future marketing materials. You agree and accept that such photographs or
videos may be used by Watermark for internal and public purposes, and no remuneration will be
provided for use of your image. By participating in the event, you agree and consent to this
clause in perpetuity. Further, you waive the right to bring action of any kind in law or equity
against Watermark.
Admittance
In its sole discretion and without refund or liability, Watermark reserves the right to refuse
admittance to or expel from the Event if Watermark determines the individual is behaving in
a manner that could be disruptive to the Event or any other attendee.
Data Sharing
Watermark is committed to data privacy and protecting your personal information. How we
collect, process, and use your data is included in the Watermark Privacy Policy currently
available at https://www.watermarkinsights.com/legal/privacy-statement/. By registering, you
are agreeing that Watermark may contact you directly with information about the Event, and
marketing content about its products and services, unless you explicitly opt-out to those
Watermark communications.
General
Watermark reserves the right to change, amend, add, or remove any terms and conditions in
its sole discretion and without prior notice, including canceling or rescheduling the Event. If
one or more of the conditions outlined in these Terms and Conditions should become invalid,
the remaining conditions will continue to be valid and apply. These terms and conditions apply
to all Event attendees. Submission of registration is regarded as affirmation of all terms and
conditions. The views expressed at the Event by attendees are not necessarily those of
Watermark’s. Event registration terms and conditions are governed by, and shall be
construed in accordance with applicable Texas state law.
